Acheke and tilapia

from £32 · sizes below

Grilled tilapia on attiéké with shito, green pepper sauce and salad. Small £32 · medium £35 · large £40

Whole tilapia, scored, marinated in ginger, garlic and pepper, and grilled over heat until the skin blisters and the flesh is smoky and just done. Served on acheke (attiéké) — Ivorian fermented cassava couscous, light and slightly tangy — with shito, green pepper sauce, red onion and tomato. The most-ordered plate in the house.

How to eat it: Fork the fish off the bone, mix it through the acheke with the pepper sauces. Squeeze of lime if you like.
